THE STORY SO FAR
From Struggling to Striving
At age 14, as a freshman in High School, Jokwin wrote his very first rap verse. As flawed as it was, there was no telling at that moment how much he would grow to love the craft. Through his high school years, he would write prolifically, slowly but surely honing his lyrical skills. After briefly attending college, he gave up his educational pursuits to follow his passion. This meant sacrifices, including getting through homelessness and straying from the safe route. Now, after getting back on his feet and creating new material, Jokwin is ready to release "Minimum Wage" which will be his debut album as an independent artist.
